Abstract: Highly publicized ethical scandals have challenged our faith in the integrity of today's leaders and public figures. With these scandals in mind, CCL examined not the character weaknesses that provoke such indiscretions, but the character strengths that top executives and middle managers need to maintain leadership with integrity. This paper describes those strengths and explains why leaders need them.
