Abstract: Precision medicine is no longer a distant vision; it is becoming part of the rapidly evolving present. Insights from studies of the human genome and microbiome, their associated transcriptomes, proteomes, and metabolomes, and epigenomics and exposomics have reached an unprecedented depth and scale. Much more needs to be done, however, particularly in dentistry.
