Abstract: This study looks at the social process of Santri Ndalem as an attempt to bless blessings, namely to get the blessings of the kiyai or his wife.The method used in this research is a qualitative research method by discussing phenomenology using observation and interview data collection techniques.From the research that has been done, becoming a santri ndalem is a choice made by santri as an effort to bless blessings.For the students, the kiai can be accepted as substitutes, for that reason, the students must be returned.There is happiness that is obtained by students when they become students in palace.That is not only material but also spiritual.Although happy also must be satisfied when having to put aside his personal interests, but happiness can serve for the family in the palace is a great blessing.
