Abstract: Colorectal tumors down-regulate the mitochondrial Na+/Ca2+/Li+ exchanger (NCLX) to alter mitochondrial Ca2+ signaling and initiate transcriptional and metabolic reprogramming that drives tumor chemo-resistance and metastasis.
