Abstract: Dental Caries remains one of the most prevalent chronic diseases affecting people across all nationalities.Fluoride has been established as a material of choice for the effective prevention of caries when used in various forms.Silver diamine fluoride (SDF) has shown promise both in arresting existing lesions and preventing new ones.This review article highlights on the effect on SDF in prevention of dental caries.
