Phenotypic Frailty Assessment in Mice: Development, Discoveries, and Experimental Considerations
Year: 2020
Type: article
Abstract: The underlying mechanisms contributing to the onset of frailty, its progression, and its mortality risk remain unknown. Recently, the two most common human frailty assessments were reverse-translated to mice. Here, we highlight the development of the mouse frailty phenotype, unique discoveries, experimental considerations, and future perspectives.
