Abstract: Endocannabinoids modulate ventral hippocampal inputs to the infralimbic prefrontal cortex by dampening feed-forward inhibition mediated by cholecystokinin-expressing (CCK+) interneurons onto layer 5 intratelencephalic (IT) cells.
