Abstract: This chapter explores the verification of quantum circuits using simulation and random stimuli. It introduces three schemes for generating quantum stimuli, which offer a trade-off between error detection rate and efficiency. The chapter demonstrates that even a small number of randomly chosen stimuli can achieve high error detection rates in quantum circuits. Empirical evaluations confirm the effectiveness of these schemes, marking a significant step in simulative verification of quantum circuits.
