Abstract: As scientists, we are all aware of past pandemics and the great toll that they have taken in terms of mortality. Many of us also are knowledgeable about the biological forces that drive global outbreaks of infectious diseases. Like every institution worldwide, The American Journal of Pathology (AJP) had to adapt rapidly to an unimaginable and constantly shifting new landscape.
