Abstract: Dr John M. Dietschy Sr., a Professor Emeritus of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas (UTSW), died on July 18 after a short illness. He was 87 years old. Dr Dietschy worked at UTSW for more than 5 decades before retiring in 2012 and continued at the University as a Professor Emeritus until his death.
