Abstract: تبادل الهدايا من الوسائل الدبلوماسية الفاعلة بين الروم والفرس ومناسبات هذه الهدايا عديدة أهمها: أولًا- هدايا التتويج فعند ارتقاء ملک، إمبراطور، قيصر شاهنشاه- أيًّا کان لقب الحاکم- فعلى الدولة العظمى أن تهديه تحت مسمى "هدايا التتويج"، وثانيًا- هدايا عقد المصاهرات بين العرشين، وثالثًا- هدايا تحمل مع السفراء والسفارات بغرض عرض السلام. يتناول البحث عرضًا لأنواع تلک الهدايا ومناسباتها وتصنيفها والهدف من أرسالها مع تتبع لنتائجها أو نتائج منعها .
