The Role of Religion in the Spread of Covid-19 in Nigeria

Abstract: All over the world, corona virus is affecting every sphere of human existence. In Nigeria, the progressing secularization of churches and denominational associations has an impact on individual ethical choices and decisions. In Nigeria, over48 percent of the citizens are affiliated with some religion. Religion has been found to play important role in the spread of the virus in Nigeria. We relied on secondary sources of data. Among other findings of the paper, we discovered that religious beliefs etc. play major roles in the spread of covid-19 in Nigeria.
