Estrategias populistas y temáticas en Twitter. Estudio comparativo de la campaña electoral en las elecciones catalanas de 2021

Abstract: After the evident situation of political and social instability experienced in Catalonia \nin recent years, copled with the social and economic crisis generated by the \npandemic, atypical elections were held in a scenario characterized by high rates of \npolarization. This research, through a quantitative and qualitative methodology, \naims to study the populist strategies and the main issues that the nine candidates \nto preside over the Government have disseminated on ther oficial Twitter account \nduring the course of the campaign. The most relevant results show that all leaders \nhave been charecterized by using at least one element of the populist discourse.
