The End of the Road for Gas Powered Automobiles

Abstract: In seemingly shocking news, Norway, France, the United Kingdom, India, and China have announced intentions to give up and do away with gas-powered cars. Although the proposals vary in method, timing, and formal adoption, all seek elimination of the combustion engine to reduce unhealthy air pollution, stave off catastrophic climate change, or both. This article summarizes the proposals.
