Abstract: The highlights of the recent searches for exotic new physics phenomena leading up to the summer of 2019 from the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) exper- iment are presented here. These include searches looking for high mass resonancesor non-resonant phenomena, low mass resonances and long-lived particles.
