Corrigendum to “Successful Urine Multiplex Bead Assay to Measure Lupus Nephritis Activity” Kidney Int. Rep. 2021;6:1949-1960.
Year: 2021
Type: erratum
Abstract: The author regrets that ICC reported in the abstract and the discussion for the modified RAIL by ELISA vs MPL was reported incorrectly. It should be 0.68 with 95% CI 0.62-0.74. In addition, there was an error in Table 3. In column one, the last two labels are switched, should be “Modified RAIL MPL vs ELISA” then “Original vs Modified RAIL”. The author would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Correspondence: Ellen Cody, 3333 Burnet Avenue, MLC 7022, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229, USA. We have previously shown that a set of 6 urinary biomarkers (NGAL, KIM-1, MCP-1, adiponectin, hemopexin, and ceruloplasmin) are highly sensitive and specific to identify adult and pediatric patients with active LN using renal biopsy as reference standard. Using these combinatorial urinary biomarkers, the Renal Activity Score for Lupus (RAIL) score was established, with biomarkers measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).
