Type: article
Study design: Observational Study
Abstract: Using a sample of 101 employees from a community-based health care agencyin the southern U.S., we empirically examined the relationships between organizationaldissent and idealism, relativism, and corporate ethical values. Theresults indicated that idealism and dissent were negatively related, relativismand dissent were unrelated, and corporate ethical values and dissent werepositively associated. The findings suggest that both individual and organizationalfactors should be noted when assessing dissent.
