Abstract: العدد في القرآن الکريم له مکانة ووجود متميز، وللکشف عن جمالياته وأسراره ينبغي فهمه وتأمله في مسارات التلقي المتعددة، وکان من بين هذه المسارات: العقيدة، والقصص القرآني، والتشريع، والعدول. وقد تبين أن العدد الثنائي "اثنين" جاء في الخطاب القرآني للتأکيد ولرفع الإيهام، ولتقوية الحق، وبيان النصر، وبيان القدرة الإلهية، وتمييز الأنواع، وإفادة الحکم تفصيلاً. وکذلک جاء العدد صريحاً، ومشتقاً، ومعدولاً، وکل هذا کان موافقاً للتلقي وخادماً له. The number in the Holy Quran has a distinct position and presence, and to reveal its rhetorical secrets and aesthetics, it must be understood and contemplated in its multiple contexts, and among these recepion were: belief, Quranic stories, legislation, and justice. It turns out that the binary number “two” came in the Qur’anic discourse to confirm and raise delusion, to strengthen the truth, to demonstrate victory, to demonstrate divine power, to distinguish species, and to benefit the ruling in detail. Likewise, the number was explicit, derived, and equitable, and all this was in accordance with the recepion and serving it.
