Abstract: In this study we assess a novel statistical learning task. In a series of online experiments, we will show participants sequences of shapes, and then use a termination task to assess whether they have learned the temporal relationships between the shapes. In this termination task, the participant watches an ongoing sequence of shapes and then terminates it when they are able to predict the next shape. We hope results will elucidate different learning 'signatures'. All experiments will be conducted online with neurotypical adults of age 18-45.
