Abstract: I would like to express my sincere thanks to all those who have assisted me and offered their support over these years of my doctoral studies. I would like to express a particular gratitude to my academic mentors, Professor Adrian Woods and Professor Keith Dickson (Brunel Business School), who have afforded me constant guidance and encouragement throughout this research project. I am truly indebted to them for being my supervisors and teaching me new skills that I have developed over the last few years. I always appreciated their kindness, understanding and attention any time I asked for it.
