Abstract: In the article the pedagogical thinking lesson potential is analyzed. The authors prove the possibilities of this kind of lesson, leaning on its approbation in V.A. Sukhomlinsky's pedagogical system. It is proved that the lesson of thinking promotes not only the successful understanding of surrounding world but also let the pupils to realize their own abilities.
