Abstract: The publication presents a review of the textbook of famous Polish linguists Przemysław E. Gębal and Władysław T. Miodunka. The concept and methodology of the job description are presented. The authors divide the textbook into a theoretical part, which deals with the history of teaching and the current state of the Polish language in the world, while in the practical part, the authors present the work of Polish and world linguistics in the didactics of Polish as a foreign language.
