Abstract: Due to the use of automated systems to enforce the law, the actual freedom to commit a crime, quasi-implied in the legal system, is eliminated. This raises questions which Sophie Beaucamp pursues from the perspective of constitutional law, economics and legal theory. She focuses on the protection of users of digital infrastructures (when infrastructures become impossibility structures).
