Abstract: The city metaphor for visualizing software systems in 3D has been widely explored and has led to many diverse implementations and approaches. Common among all approaches is a focus on the software artifacts, while the aspects pertaining to the data and information (stored both in databases and files) used by a system are seldom taken into account.
