Abstract: This paper comments on a pedagogical project carried out with second-year undergraduate history students, designed to raise awareness of the different uses of classics in contemporary creations, especially films and TV series (Troy: Fall of a City, Cleopatra, Astérix et Obélix…). Classics reception is a growing concern and, using an approach inspired by the concept of interculturality, we highlighted multiple contemporary issues in these works and pointed out the ways in which classical Antiquity can be reinterpreted, adopted and adapted.
