Abstract: This highly collaborative work aimed to perform proof of concept studies to illustrate the feasibility of isotope harvesting from heavy ion fragmentation facilitates. Overall this project was highly successful and resulted in high profile presentations, publications and stimulated new avenues of research. Also, a new community of potential users of an isotope harvesting facility at FRIB was developed at workshops as part of this grant, and it continues to this day. Just as importantly, many trainees have been involved in this exciting research. A new faculty member (Greg Severin) has joined the chemistry department at Michigan State University and intends to make this area an important part of his research program. With the aid of DOE supplemental funding, we were able to transition much of the knowledge gained during the course of this work to the local MSU faculty
