Abstract: In preparing for a recent American College of Toxicology (ACT) Council meeting, I went through each submission for the calendar year 2009 to identify where our submissions are coming from.I certainly knew that I had seen a lot of manuscripts from a lot of countries, but the numbers surprised even me!As of late September, 2009, we had >180 regular manuscript submissions from 31 countries!I thought that readers would be interested to see this distribution, so I present here (Figure 1) the countries from which we have received at least 5 submissions (ie, the country of the corresponding authors).
