Abstract: Page 32217: The nucleotide sequence of ERG1, a uterus/oviduct-specific gene, is nearly identical to that of an unpublished cDNA reported in the GenBank™ (accession no. AFO22147). This information was inadvertently omitted in our manuscript and we regret this oversight. Although it may preclude us from describing ERG1 as a “novel” gene, the merit and importance of our findings regarding the spatio-temporal expression and hormonal regulation of this gene during early pregnancy and the reproductive cycle remain unaffected.
