Type: article
Abstract: This article presents the structure of Alexander Golitsyn's agents network, its areas of activity on the European art market and the connections of its agents. These protagonists are connoisseurs, notorious personalities, artists and simple agents initially unfamiliar with art dealing. Active mainly in the Netherlands, german territories and Italy, they were in contact with other actors of the artistic world, collectors, Russian diplomats, agents, intermediaries, merchants. Thus, the Golitzine network was part of a larger Russian network, to which it should be linked.
