Abstract: Schefflera plants, approximately 6 inch in height, maintained in 6-inch pots on greenhouse benches were used in the test. Temik 10 g was applied at three different rates. Each treatment consisted of one plant, replicated five times. Granules were evenly distributed over the soil surface in each pot. The plants were then watered to saturatioi and watered daily for seven days following treatment. A pretreatment count consisted of examining two plants in each treatment and recording nymphs and adults. Seven days after treatment, each plant was examined for the same life cycle stages and recorded.
