Abstract: (Cell Reports 21, 508–516; October 10, 2017) In the originally published version of this article, there was a typographical error in the third Highlight, where “without” was inadvertently written instead of “with.” The Highlight has now been corrected online and reads as “Tumor cells become resistant to drug therapy with breathing motions.” The authors regret this error. Human Organ Chip Models Recapitulate Orthotopic Lung Cancer Growth, Therapeutic Responses, and Tumor Dormancy In VitroHassell et al.Cell ReportsOctober 10, 2017In BriefHassell et al. demonstrate that, when human lung cancer cells are grown within organ-on-a-chip culture devices that mimic lung structure and function, tumor cells recapitulate tumor growth and invasion patterns, as well as responses to therapy, observed in human patients. They also discover that breathing motions influence these responses. Full-Text PDF Open Access
