Egr2 targets identify a population of dysfunctional T cells in the tumor microenvironment with immune modulatory properties
Year: 2013
Type: article
Abstract: Meeting abstracts The immune recognition of cancer provides potential for robust host control of tumors. Although the presence of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) indicates an endogenous anti-tumor response, immune regulatory pathways can subvert the effector phase and enable tumor escape.
