Abstract: “If it ain't broke, don't fix it.” We have all heard that expression, and we have been hearing similar comments over the past few weeks with regard to the upcoming move of the journal to a new manuscript submission and tracking system, eJournalPress (eJP). It is not that we have been unhappy with our current system, Editorial Manager, which we have used largely without major complaints or problems over the past seven years, but rather that there are now compelling advantages to moving to a system that is used by the vast majority of the journals published by our current publisher, Nature Publishing Group (NPG).
