Abstract: Ultra-small superparamagnetic iron oxide (USPIO) compounds are used to detect nodal metastases in various types of cancer. A benign mixed tumor was evaluated with MRI including USPIO and prior to surgery. USPIO were significantly concentrated in the lesion.
