Abstract: In this paper, we describe a replication of Experiment 1C from a statistical learning paper by Conway and Christiansen (2005). Although the original study compares statistical learning across tactile, visual, and auditory sequences, this paper will focus specifically on the auditory sequences. This experiment was part of a larger project to systematically replicate as many experiments involving statistical word learning in adults as possible.
