Abstract: This paper presents some results of the systematization work that the National Laboratory of Oral Materials (Mexico) has done. A brief history of LANMO and its theoretical bases is first presented, and then two of the instruments it has generated: a code of ethics and a protocol for the documentation of oral materials in field work.
