Utilization of Remote Reprogramming to Manage Insertable Cardiac Monitor Arrhythmia Alert Burden

Abstract: Insertable Cardiac Monitors (ICMs) continuously monitor for cardiac arrhythmias, however the amount of data creates significant workload for clinics. The ability to remotely reprogram device alert settings without need for an in-office patient visit was recently introduced with the LINQ II ICM, but utilization of this feature and impact on clinic workflow compared to previous generation LINQ TruRhythm (TR) is unknown.
