The Impact of Leader Support and Life Satisfaction on Business Performance: The Case of the Banking Industry

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to discover the impact of leadership support and life satisfaction on job performance in the banking industry and to contribute to the literature in this area. A questionnaire was applied to 355 bank employees. Statistical analyzes were made via the "SPSS 23 for Windows" program. Demographic data were classified according to age, gender, marital status, and educational status and analyzed by Pearson Correlation Test, multiple/two-stage regression analysis. In the light of the findings, it is concluded that leader support and life satisfaction can positively affect job performance. The author anticipates that the research can contribute to the existing literature as well as the results of previous studies.
