Abstract: We evaluated whether first-trimester high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP), a suggested marker of pregnancy-associated hyperglycemia, predicts third-trimester impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) in a secondary analysis of a prospective cohort of nondiabetic singletons enrolled at <26 weeks gestation.
