Abstract: یتمحور هذا البحث حول إیجاد علاقة بین النصوص الفکاهیة و أحکام غرایس (Gricean maxims). إذ تم اختیار نصوص فکاهیة عربیة لغرض التحلیل. وقد تبین ان خرق هذه الأحکام متوقف على العلاقة المتبادلة بین الأحکام وان حکم المواءمة (maxim of relevance) یتضمن الأحکام الثلاثة الأخرى: الکمیة والنوعیة والأسلوب.
