Author response: Kinesin-1, -2, and -3 motors use family-specific mechanochemical strategies to effectively compete with dynein during bidirectional transport
Year: 2022
Type: peer-review
Abstract: The motility of three different kinesin-dynein pairs were analyzed and found to be strikingly similar, suggesting that bidirectional transport is not regulated by motor type, but rather by scaffold, adapter, and regulatory proteins.
