Abstract: Among non-communicable diseases, cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are the leading cause of mortality 22 worldwide, which are associated with an increased morbidity and hospitalization (1). To date, few 23 effective strategies have been developed to cure CVD such as heart failure and ischemic-reperfusion 24 injury. Therefore, exploring effective therapeutical strategies for CVD treatment is essential. In recent 25 years, exosomes attract growing attention in the diagnosis and treatment of CVD(2, 3) due to their 26 specific characteristics, including excellent biocompatibility and low immunogenicity(4).
