Abstract: 1 regarding ASCO Living Guidelines 2 and agree that disseminating clear and transparent information on living guideline development methodology is paramount. This letter is particularly timely, as the ASCO Evidence Based Medicine Committee, the volunteer guideline review and approval body, and ASCO staff, planned to release an editorial on ASCO's living guidelines, to coincide with the first two living guideline publications.2,3 The upcoming editorial outlines the ASCO living guideline methodology at a high level and underscores the utility of living guidelines in clinical settings where new and potentially practice-changing evidence is published at a staggeringly frequent rate.Furthermore, the publicly available ASCO Guidelines Methodology Manual 4 was updated to include a detailed description of the methodology for living guideline development.
