Towards a primate single-cell atlas
Year: 2022
Type: article
Abstract: NHP cell atlas composed of single-cell/single-nucleus transcriptomes of 1.14 million cells (nuclei), covering 113 major cell types across 45 tissues. Cross-tissue comparison of cell types and molecular features revealed tissue specificity in common cell types, cellular vulnerability to COVID-19, tissue stem cells, and cell-type association with complex human traits and monogenic heritable diseases. The monkey drawing was generated by Ming-Jiang Lu and Rui Zeng (BGI-Shenzhen). Part of this diagram was drawn using free-to-use artwork from Servier Medical Art (https://smart.servier.com/).
