Abstract: Article highlights: a) To examine sleep patterns in patients with Maturity-Onset Diabetes of the Young. b) Are sleep disturbances common in Maturity-Onset Diabetes of the Young? c) Sleep disturbances appear to be common in adults with MODY despite absent traditional risk factors for sleep disorders. d) The findings on sleep patterns in MODY warrant future rigorous investigations regarding their underlying pathophysiology in this unique form of diabetes.
