Abstract: One of the most urgent scientific and medical problems in Russia and other countries is the problem of cerebrovascular accidents. Mortality from cerebrovascular diseases in our country ranks second in the structure of total mortality. Mortality in the acute stage of all types of stroke is approximately 35%, increasing by 12-15% by the end of the first year. Disability due to stroke ranks first among all causes of primary disability.
