Abstract: Osteomas are benign osteogenic tumors of the head and neck region, commonly involving the facial bones and paranasal sinuses. We present a rare case of a giant mandibular osteoma, presenting with a 15-year history of a slowly progressive painless swelling. The lesion reached such a size as to cause dyspnea and dysphagia. While some mandibular osteomas appear to be self-limiting, others demonstrate continued growth potential, causing significant secondary functional impairment, as in this case.
