Abstract: Whole genome bisulfite sequencing conducted on a subset of patients with low AR activity and low IL-1β expression revealed 346 CpG sites spanning the IL-1β promoter and gene body on chromosome 2, of which 34 showed significant differences in methylation when comparing patients with similarly low AR activity but having high vs. low expression of IL-1β.
