Abstract: PDF file - 1911KB, Immunoblot analyses of proteins associated with either keratinocyte differentiation (TGase 1, Involucrin, Loricrin, Cytokeratin 10/13) or local enteric recycling (UDP-Glc DH, UGT1A) in biopsy tissues of clinical trial participants. As not all OIN lesions had sufficient size to obtain tissue for Western analyses, only samples from the larger OIN lesions are represented. We have previously confirmed that these enzymes of interest reside almost exclusively in the epithelia. Pan cytokeratin was therefore used as the protein loading control.
