Abstract: Plot of the mean expression versus the standard deviation (SD) of all the genes included in (A) ITCC/CIT dataset (Affy HGU133plus2 platform) or (B) COG/IRSG dataset (Affy HGU133a platform). Genes included in the nCounter assay were colored in blue or in red (if their SD was below 0.6). C) Plot of the mean expression of the selected genes in the two datasets. Excluding NDUFS4, the other genes showed similar level of expression across datasets.
